Special gathering on Give Green Day for African Studies Center African Alumni and Friends

African alumni and friends of Michigan State University are invited to a special gathering hosted by MSU’s African Studies Center on Tuesday, March 16 at 12:00 PM ET! The virtual event will include an introduction to the newly established Nnamdi Azikiwe Fellowship Award for African Students—an award honoring Nigeria’s first civilian president, Nnamdi Azikiwe. The fellowship provides travel funding for African student research and other academic activities in Africa.

Ebenezer Offei Ansah, the inaugural recipient of the Azikiwe Fellowship Award and a doctoral candidate pursuing research on sustainable food systems and agriculture in Ghana, will be present and will share some remarks.
